THE STUDENTS of Dr Radhakrishnan Senior Secondary School, BHEL presented several programmes to mark the conclusion of the two-day annual day celebrations.
The cultural programme started with Vande Mataram. In her welcome address school senior principal P A Nair presented the school’s annual report. She highlighted the achievements of the school during the academic session 2006.
Director MANIT Dr K S Pandey, who was the chief guest, lauded the efforts of the school in bringing out the manifold talents in the children.
A dance drama titled, ‘Paying for Peace’ took the spectators to the realms of spiritual solemnity and taught the value of religious harmony in an exquisitely artistic way.
The function was interspersed with the wide variety of exhilarating performances like skits, plays, mime-show, and regional folk dances.
A prize distribution ceremony was held. AGM, (QTX), BHEL and Vice President BSM M K Shakya, AGM (HRD), BHEL and Secretary BSM, Administrator BSM S N Patil and principals from the various BSM schools were present. School captain Harsh Dubey proposed the vote of thanks.
