On the sustained interrogation of the arrested HM militants, police were able to apprehend their another colleague Ismayil from Salona Pani area under the jurisdiction of Dharamshal police station in the border district on Sunday, police sources said on Monday.

On Thursday, police had arrested the two HM operatives -- Sadiq Khan and Makhan Din (both residents of Draman village) -- from a bus and recovered Rs 2.20 lakh on Sunderbani-Taryath road in the district.

Ismayil was to receive the hawala consignment from the two at Salona Pani and hand it over to a Pakistani militant, Adil, who was presently operating as a divisional commander of HM in Rajouri.

Interrogation of Khan and Din has revealed that they had been handed over the consignment about 12 days earlier by another HM militant, Owaid, a resident of Gulabgarh and presently operating in Sunderbani-Kalakote belt of the district.

Meanwhile, police have launched a hunt for Owaid and Adil who are among the most wanted militants in the district.
