Police in Bihar on Tuesday rescued an abducted schoolboy from Samastipur district, two days after he was kidnapped at gunpoint.

Twelve-year-old Harsh Ranjan, son of a schoolteacher, was rescued from a house falling in an area under the jurisdiction of the Harpur Pusa police station, said Meghnath Ram, Samastipur district superintendent of police.

Four people have been arrested in this connection.
The boy has been handed over to his family.
