The comittees formed for each of the four regions of Puducherry, Karaikal, Mahe and Yanam regions would take stock of the preparedness of the institutions to prevent menace of the ragging.

While Puducherry and Karaikal regions have committees under the Chairmanship of the respective district collectors in Mahe and Yanam regions were headed by respective administrators, an official press release said on Sunday.
