"As per our agreement, Delhi Metro has already taken over two acres of land from us to build a station but now they are demanding over 6,000 square meters of land," said SC Malhotra, vice president of International Amusement Limited, the park's owner.

"This morning, they came to occupy the extra land forcefully without even fulfilling any legal formalities. Earlier they wanted to build a station and now they want to take possession of the extra land for building a commercial complex.

"We are weighing all legal options and will take Delhi Metro to court soon," Malhotra said.

He said once Delhi Metro takes over the property, they would have to relocate their entire power generation system.

"It will be a complete encroachment of our entry (area) and we have to remove at least four big cradles for the purpose."

However, DMRC chief spokesperson Anuj Dayal said the land and development officer has permitted them to take over the land and there was no controversy in it.
