Members of the Andhra Pradesh Teachers' Foundation (APTF) resolved to launch a three-day sit-in, starting from July 7, in all mandal headquarters to protest against the state government's decision to introduce English language in schools.

The decision taken yesterday by the executive committee of the federation comes in the wake of state government planning to introduce English in all state-run schools, a press release issued here stated.
Besides, the committee members have also demanded the state government to look into the issue of unified services rules for teachers across the state.
