Are we reading too much in this?

I have seen the "Pawar-push" footage. To my mind it was not as insulting as it was projected by the media. Australian captain Ricky Ponting has apologised for the incident. However, from the Indian point of view, it is highly insulting to behave so with a dignitary. But from the Australian point of view it is just a spur-of-the-moment action and had no untoward thinking because they take such behaviour easy. If they were to find out that they have done something wrong unknowingly, they regret it and feel deeply sorry.

I have seen the footage and things which materialised by Aussies touching our revered Sharad Pawarji at the dais. It was not as bad as it was projected by the media.

I am of the opinion we Indians have a big heart and can pardon somebody if he has done something inadvertently. I am sure Sharadji who is a great statesman of India will pull the plug and give a soothing touch to the matter.

Believe it or not here in Australia, Australians have great respect for Indians because we are seen as being well-behaved, mannered, sophisticated, adjustable and above all very friendly and amicable.
