Army bikers' team makes history, sets three world records in MP

The Dare Devils, a motorcycle rider display team of the Corps of Signals of the Indian Army, made history in Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday by breaking three world records in different categories.

The Dare Devils, a motorcycle rider display team of the Corps of Signals of the Indian Army, made history on Tuesday by breaking three world records in different categories.

The first record was achieved in the fastest human motorcycle pyramid of 15 men on three motorcycles covering distance of one kilometre on circular track in 68 seconds. The second record achieved was when maximum 120 times bikes crossed over Naik Dilip Behera's stomach in 13 minutes.

The third record achieved was the longest distance riding facing towards rear side by havaldar Dipayan Choudhary and havaldar Eswara Rao T on separate motorcycle on a circular track covering 218 kilometres in 4 hours and 21 minutes.

Madhya Pradesh high court Justices Ajit Singh, Rajendra Menon, RS Jha and Alok Aradhe were witness to the events and certified the records of Dare Devils' team performance in the three categories.

The Indian Army will forward the certified records to the Guinness Book of World Records, Limca Book of Records, Asia Book of Records and India Book of Records for entry. Dare Devils' team head captain Abhayjit Mehlawat said the team was practicing for last four months to break the world records in these categories.
