The army chief Suhag along with Northern Command chief Lt Gen DS Hooda, GOC Fire & Fury Corps Lt Gen SK Patyal and GOC 8 Mountain Division were present on the occasion.

The army chief, who paid floral tributes to those who laid down their lives in the war in 1999, also interacted with Leh ex-servicemen at Kargil War Memorial.
