MEMBER OF Parliament Jyotiraditya Scindia would be participating in the major kisan sammelan rally to be organised on December 6 in Aron, which is part of former State chief minister Digvijay Singh’s assembly constituency.
This would be Scindia’s first visit to Aron, once a part of his father the late Madhavrao Scindia’s parliamentary constituency, Guna. In fact, when Madhavrao contested Lok Sabha election for the first time in 1971 from Guna constituency, Aron was a part of it.
Later, Aron came to be included in Rajgarh parliamentary constituency. Another interesting fact is that the current Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, had once made a vain attempt to start his political career from this assembly segment.
Scindia’s visit to the ‘karmabhoomi’ of such political bigwigs is in itself of immense importance. People in Aron are excited at the prospect of hearing and meeting the leader who has been making serious and persistent efforts to connect their area with the main road.
Meanwhile, Scindia has advised the organisers to take the support of all Congress organisations if and when need arises so that the programme helped strengthen the party.
