"However, no dates for this has been finalised yet," Dabi, also the Water Resources Development minister, told a press conference held in Itanagar yesterday.

Sincere joint efforts in this direction would boost the socio-economic development of both the states, he said.

Meanwhile, the new Congress ministry in the state headed by Khandu has dissolved all district land advisory boards and directed land management secretary to reconstitute the same, Dabi said.

A one-man committee has been constituted to look into alleged irregularities in appointments and expenditure incurred by the department of Health and Family Welfare, he said.

The state cabinet, he said, has decided to appoint almost all the ruling Congress legislators as parliamentary secretaries and an ordinance has already been promulgated.
