ASI found shot dead in Jammu

An Assitant Sub-Inspector was found dead at Trade Facilitation Centre in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said.

An Assitant Sub-Inspector (ASI) was found dead at Trade Facilitation Centre in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said.

50-year-old Sangra Singh had gone for inspection at TFC Rangar in Poonch district last night, they said.

Suddenly there was a sound of firing and policemen rushed to his room. Singh was lying in a pool of blood and an SLR was laying close to his body, they said, adding that he was rushed to a hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.
