The flood situation in Assam remain unchanged on Sunday as water level of Brahmaputra and its tributaries still flowing over danger level.

As per the official flood bulletin on Sunday, 17.68 lakh people have been affected in the current flood. 21 districts have been affected in the flood that begun on August 22 last. Altogether 277 relief camps have been opened up for flood affected people.

The death toll in the current flood rises up to 45 as five more died on Sunday in flood related incidents in different parts of the state.
In Guwahati, the Brahmaputra is flowing over danger level for the fourth day on Sunday.
