Attack on African student: one held

The probe into the brutal attack on Burundi student Yannick Nihangaza in April has thrown up another accused, taking the total number of suspects in the case to nine. So far four persons have been arrested.

The probe into the brutal attack on Burundi student Yannick Nihangaza in April has thrown up another accused, taking the total number of suspects in the case to nine. So far four persons have been arrested. During interrogation the four — Amarbir Singh Bajwa, son of the managing director of cooperative sugar mills, Romi Uppal, son of a senior police officer, Sahil Deep Singh and Sumeet — revealed the name of Ramtaj Singh as another person involved in the case, the police said.
