Two persons who allegedly tried to kidnap a girl student from US were arrested by police on Saturday night.
The girl, hailing from West Virginia (US) had come to the city under Rotary Club Group Study exchange programme and had taken admission in a local institute.

Three persons, who came in an autorickshaw tried to kidnap the girl near the Gajanan Mandir road, police said.
However, when the girl raised an alarm, four persons who were passing by foiled the kidnap attempt.
Later the police launched a hunt and arrested two persons, while the third one is still at large.
