THE AUQAF-E-AAMMA Mutawalli Committee felicitated its newly appointed secretary M S Jafri and treasurer Shafiq Ahmed here on Wednesday.
Committee chairman Sultan Abdul Aziz felicitated the newly appointed office-bearers. On the occasion the speakers discussed the issues related to protection of Waqf property, ways to increase revenue earning and resolving disputes related to Waqf’s properties, so that the Mutawalli Committee could emerge as an ideal body.
State Minority Commission’s chairman Anwar Mohammed Khan, senior BJP leader Surendra Nath, MP Waqf Board’s new members Alamgir Gouri, Niyaz Mohammed, president of District Waqf Committee, Aleem Qureshi and several others were present on the occasion, who too were felicitated by the committee.
