Author held for using prophet’s pic

Dr Karna Singh Kushwaha, the Lakhimpur-based author, whose book had a picture of the Prophet, was arrested in Lakhimpur, Kheri district in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday for fuelling religious passions.

The police have seized all copies of the book. Cases have also been registered against the publisher and printer, for carrying the photo in page number 403 of the book, Udiyaman Bhartiya Samaj Mein Shikshak.
