Awards for HT photojournalists

Two HT photojournalists won gold and a third a bronze at the 8th Asia Media Awards, 2009, given by IFRA, the world’s leading association of newspaper and media publishing. The awards ceremony was held in Chennai.

Two HT photojournalists won gold and a third a bronze at the 8th Asia Media Awards, 2009, given by IFRA, the world’s leading association of newspaper and media publishing. The awards ceremony was held in Chennai on Thursday.

Manoj Patil and Kunal Patil, both photojournalists at our Mumbai office, won the gold awards. While Manoj received it in the News Photography category, Kunal got it in the Feature Photography category.

Himanshu Vyas, our photojournalist in Jaipur, received the bronze in the Feature Photography category.
