A special court in Rae Bareli, hearing the Babri demolition case against BJP leader LK Advani and seven others, on Saturday fixed August 29 for further hearing of the case.

The case could not be taken up today owing to a strike by the State Bar Association in protest against alleged kidnapping of a lawyer in Mau recently.
Besides Advani, BJP general secretary Vinay Katiyar, former Union ministers M M Joshi and Uma Bharati, Vishwa Hindu Parishad leaders Ashok Singhal, Acharya Giriraj Kishore, Vishnu Hari Dalmiya and Sadhvi Ritambhara are the other accused in the case.
