Azad wins Bhaderwah by-election seat

The J&K CM defeated BJP's Kaushal Kotwal by a margin of 58,015 votes.

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad on Thursday won the Bhaderwah Assembly seat defeating BJP's Kaushal Kotwal by a huge margin of 58,015 votes.

Azad, representing Congress party, got 62,072 votes and Kotwal 4,057, out of a total of 66,129 polled votes, Deputy Commissioner, Doda, GK Qureshi said.

The by-elections to Pattan, Sangrama, Rafiabad and Bhaderwah constituencies of the state were held on April 24 and over 60 per cent voters had exercised their franchise.
