The condition of former Indian cricket captain and Moradabad MP Mohammed Azharuddin's son Mohammed Ayazuddin, 19, who was injured in a mishap, continued to be "very critical" for the second day.

Azharuddin who flew in from London early Monday, rushed to the hospital.
Ayazuddin, who is the youngest of Azharuddin's two sons from his first wife Naureen, has been on ventilator support at the Apollo hospital after his sports bike met with an accident on the outskirts of the city on Sunday morning.
Azharuddin's sister's son Ajmal-ur-Rahman, 16, died in the same accident.
A press release from the hospital said, "…the patient is being managed in the intensive care unit on ventilator and BP support.Neurological assessments are being performed to assess his brain condition…It is suspected that there may be a significant brain dysfunction…."
Meanwhile, in a joint statement the families of Azharuddin and former MP Khaleel-ur-Rahman denied reports that the family of the latter (grandfather of Ajmal) had filed a criminal complaint against Ayazuddin.
