THE BARKATULLAH University has made it clear that B Ed Colleges cannot refuse to issue exam admit cards to the students on the basis of non-payment of fees.
In a notification issued on Saturday, the university said that it has come to notice that some colleges were refusing admit cards to students on grounds that fees was not paid.
The university has said that that the admit cards were issued on the basis of the exam forms forwarded by the colleges and the colleges are expected to ensure that all students have fulfilled the required norms before filling the exam forms. The Barkatullah University (BU) has warned that if any college
refuses to issue the admit cards, disciplinary action could be taken against them. They can collect the requisite fees from the students later, but have to allow them to appear for the exams.
Students who do not receive the admit cards could meanwhile get the duplicate cards at the exam centre, two hours before the commencement of exams.
