Granddaughter of late Garg, Ritu, a teacher, rushed to SSP Vijay Singh Meena last night to tell him about a call on her mobile phone made allegedly by Babloo Srivastava. The caller identified himself as Babloo Srivasatava and allegedly threatened Ritu and her family with dire consequences to vacate the bungalow.

Ritu said Babloo also asked her to withdraw cases filed by her against Imtiaz or face the music. It may be recalled that sub-inspector Shatrughan Singh, staying in a room in the said bungalow, had on May 14 shot dead a guard Ram Avtar Shukla. The latter had been employed as a private guard by the Gargs to protect them from alleged threats of Imtiaz who claimed to have purchased the bungalow, a fact contested by the Garg family.
