Special Judge VK Singh, who had earlier reserved his order on the application, rejected the defence application and fixed April 15 next for further hearing on the matter.

The court allowed a month's time to the defence to file a revision petition in the High Court against the judgement.

The defence counsels had pleaded that the CBI should hand over to them the list of the sequence of its witnesses to be produced in the matter.

The CBI counsel had vehemently opposed the application contending that there was no provision in the law which required the agency to furnish such a list to the defence.

The other accused in the case are former state BJP president Vinay Katiyar, VHP President Ashok Singhal, leaders Acharya Giriraj Kishore, Vishnu Hari Dalmiya and Sadhvi Ritambhara.
