Bait-ul-Maal holds medical camp

A FREE medical camp for the poor was organised by Bhopal Bait-ul-Maal, a recently formed NGO, in the Rajiv Nagar slums situated opposite Central School behind State Bank of India Local Head Office on Sunday.

A FREE medical camp for the poor was organised by Bhopal Bait-ul-Maal, a recently formed NGO, in the Rajiv Nagar slums situated opposite Central School behind State Bank of India Local Head Office on Sunday.

According to Syed Fareeududdin, general secretary of Bhopal Bait-ul-Maal, about 400 families, which included men, women and children of all ages, were examined by four doctors and their supporting staff.

The medical practitioners who rendered their services included Dr Mohammad Ilyas, Dr Mohammad Zafar Hasan, Dr Mohammad Zakariya and Dr Jain.

Fareeduddin said medicines worth thousands of rupees were distributed free to the slum-dwellers on the occasion. The slum-dwellers appreciated the gesture shown by the Bhopal Bait-ul-Maal activists to cater to their health needs.
