Assam Police ADG (Special Branch) Khagen Sarma while confirming the arrest of three Ulfa cadres said that BSF had handed over them to Assam Police.

The arrested Ulfa cadres were identified as Antu Choudang, self styled captain of the outfit, Pradeep Chetia and Sourav Bora. The arrested Ulfa cadres were close confident of Paresh Barua. The Ulfa militants were arrested in Dhakaon December 13 last year.

All the three arrested Ulfa cadres were brought to Guwahati. The Special Operation Unit (SOU) of Assam Police registered cases against the ultras. They would be produced at Court.
