Bank dacoit gang leader arrested

Superintendent of Police, Hazaribag, Pankaj Kamboj, said Nasim Khan who was wanted in looting Demotand branch of SBI on February 9 was arrested by policemen of Sambalpur in Orissa from a roadside dhaba.

The leader of a gang of bank dacoits was arrested in Sambalpur in Orissa, police said on Monday.

The gang of inter-state bank robbers operating in Orissa, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal was busted.

Four of Khan's aides were arrested before during a raid.

Kamboj said they seized cash of Rs 60,000, jwelleries and gold worth Rs 5 lakh and several pistols and ammunition from him.
