Bank of Baroda on Monday said its net profit for the first quarter jumped up 84.8 per cent to Rs 685.38 crore from Rs 370.86 crore for the same period a year ago.

Its total income for the reporting quarter was up 24.4 per cent year-on-year to Rs 4,735.15 crore from Rs 3,806.37 crore, the company said in a release.
The company's net interest income of the bank was Rs 1,204.70 up 14 per cent from Rs 1,204.70 crore, a year ago. The bank's gross non-performing assets declined to Rs 2,068.15 crore for the first quarter of this year from Rs 2,091.06 crore a year ago.
