BBA student found dead in hostel room

A first-year student of Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) of Amity University, Manesar was found hanging from the ceiling fan of her hostel room on Tuesday.

According to police, the deceased, Dana Silva, was found dead by her roommate in the afternoon when she reached the hostel after her examination.

She informed the hostel warden who got the door broken. No suicide note is found from the spot.

The deceased, who hailed from Meghalaya, had joined the Amity hostel in August last year.
