BCCI on Friday set up an independent committee to investigate the matter.

The league chairman Rajeev Shukla confirmed the BCCI’s anti-corruption and security unit headed by Ravi Sawani will investigate the matter and submit a report. Sawani also carried out an investigation after a sting operation by a TV channel last year.
