THE ALLEGED apathetic attitude of the university officials has forced the B Ed students to convert their ongoing dharna into relay hunger strike at the vice-chancellor’s residence here today.
The students had started their dharna four-days back demanding announcement of the result of B Ed examination for the 2005-06 session.
Talking to mediapersons, Pawan Gupta and Sushil Kumar Pandey said the examination was held five month back but results have not yet been declared because of the ongoing tussle between the management of degree colleges and university officials. They said the tussle had darkened the students future and university officials were shifting their responsibility to the college authorities.
It is to be noted that local MLA Dr RMD Agrawal had also extended his support to the students dharna for declaration of results.
Meanwhile, members of Parivartankami Chhatra Sabha have also condemned the apathetic attitude of the university authorities on this issue.
