An overcrowded marketplace dotted with computer shops and littered with paan stains is not the perfect location for a specialty beer café. Thankfully, once you’ve climbed the rickety staircase to Come Drink Beer Café (CDB Café), pristine white interiors greet you.

Quirky posters line the walls, attesting to the place’s partiality to beer — ‘Say no to drugs. You’ll have more time to drink beer’, for example.

The food and drinks menus are extensive. The former, mostly Continental, offers both bar bites and full meals, with enough options for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. Coming to what the place is famous for — European beer.

The menu has a long list of beers, including Stella Artois, Hoegaarden, etc (no craft beers, though). There’s also a section on beer cocktails, but try those with caution. CDB Café has lots of promise; one hopes it can capitalise on it.
