Benches should be rotated, feels High Court Bar

THE ALLAHABAD High Court Bar has resolved that Benches should be rotated within four to six weeks among all the Judges of High Court. Besides, the HCBA on Thursday adjourned its meeting for August 28, 2006 at 1.10 pm in the Library Hall of the association.

Besides, the HCBA on Thursday adjourned its meeting for August 28, 2006 at 1.10 pm in the Library Hall of the association.

A requisitioned general body meeting of the High Court Bar Association took place on Thursday at the Library Hall of Association under the chairmanship of CL Pandey, president of High Court Bar Association, which was conducted by High Court Bar Association secretary Rakesh Pandey.

During the meeting, president of HCBA apprised the members of the Bar regarding the discussion which had taken place between the delegation of the Bar and Chief Justice.

Holiday notice

JOINT SECRETARY (Press) of Allahabad High Court Bar Association, Shashi Shekhar Tiwari informed that the High Court will remained closed on August 14, 2006 in continuation of holidays and the Court will be opened on August 19, 2006 in lieu of August 14, 2006.

Giving this information, Tiwari further said that flag hoisting programme of HCBA will take place on August 15, 2006 at 10.00 am in the portico of the HCBA.
