BHU alumni to celebrate founder?s day

BANARAS HINDU University (BHU) Old Students? Association, Madhya Pradesh, is celebrating the university?s foundation day on January 23 at Malviya Bhavan near Mayur Park at 10.30 am.

It was on Basant Panchami in 1916 that Pt Madan Mohan Malviya laid the foundation for BHU.

A discussion on ‘Thoughts of Pt Malviya in the present political context’ is also being organised on the occasion. Association’s general secretary Dr Subhash Singh has requested all BHU alumni to participate in the function.
