Excited at the prospect of playing the November 18 tri-series final before a large crowd at the majestic Eden Gardens here, Australian pacer Andy Bichel on Saturday said he was looking forward to the challenge of coming up trumps on a surface likely to assist spinners.

Bichel also expressed satisfaction over his performance on the tour so far but admitted that he could have done with some more wickets.

"This tour has been a learning experience. I've been in form. But I would have liked to take some more wickets," Bichel, who has taken four wickets in the tournament so far, told newspersons after a practice session at the Eden.

However, Bichel said the pitches have "not really been a problem" for him.

"We have been playing on different surfaces and in varying conditions. Each game has been a different test. But the pitches have not been that much of a problem. I'm happy that despite coming as underdogs, my team has done so well and reached the final," he said.

Asked about the pitch, the paceman said it looked spinner-friendly. "It will help the slow bowlers. The ball will definitely take more and more turn as the game goes on. And succeeding on such a wicket is a challenge.
