For instance, January 26 was celebrated in 1999 on Tuesday, and in 2010, the date again fell on a Tuesday. Now, the people would be getting another chance to witness these matching of day and dates in 2021.
Renowned mathematician and a professor of the Mathematics Department in HBTI, Dr SU Siddiqui told Hindustan Times, "I am hearing of such a coincidence for the first time in my life. It is really an interesting phenomenon. I think such numerical arrangements happen due to leap years and increasing and decreasing days in Februarys."
