They gave many blockbusters like Zanjeer, Sharaabi, Namak Halaal, Laawaris and Muqaddar Ka Sikandar together, but all of a sudden the bond between Big B and Prakash Mehra snapped after the debacle of Jaadugar.

Though Amitabh insists that there was no friction between them, Mehra hinted otherwise.

Bachchan and Mehra couldn’t talk during his visit to the hospital, but the positive vibe between the two was obvious.

Amitabh said, “When someone is on a ventilator, especially one that has been attached through the trachea you cannot talk. But when I held Prakashji’s hand, he smiled and his son Sumeet said he hadn’t done that since he came in.”

He also said that Prakash Mehra was in the ICU and on a ventilator because of his lung condition, but doctors have informed that his condition is better and improving.
