Big B to sing for TV commercial

After crooning songs like Mere angane mein, Rang barse and Chali chali for his movies, megastar Amitabh Bachchan now has lent his voice for a TV commercial.

After crooning songs like Mere angane mein, Rang barse and Chali chali for his movies, Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan now has lent his voice for a TV commercial.

Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, who is also directing the actor in his forthcoming film Aladin, Amitabh has sung the song for a Himani Navratna Oil commercial, for which he is also the brand ambassador.

"He has an incredible energy level that comes across on the screen as well. We had an amazing time shooting the ad with him," said Ghosh.

The jingle has been composed by Vishal-Shekhar and sources claim "Amitabh too spent long hours in the studio with the musicians and provided his own inputs". The 66-year-old will also shake a leg in the ad.
