A senior officer of the Bihar agriculture department was found dead at a hotel in headquarter town of Bihar's Rohtas district.

A senior officer of the Bihar agriculture department was on Sunday found dead at a hotel in this headquarter town of Bihar's Rohtas district on Sunday, police sources said.

The body of Kameshwar Verma, block agriculture officer, Nauhatta (Rohtas), who had reportedly come to meet the district magistrate on Saturday, was recovered from a hotel room, the sources said.

His body was handed over to his relatives after post-mortem the report of which was not immediately available, they said.
