A MAN was killed when his motorcycle rammed into a stationary truck near Nishatpura on the night intervening Wednesday and Thursday. According to police, the bike hit the truck MID 99092 that was parked on the roadside. The bike rider died on the spot.
The deceased was identified as Ashok Babu, 30. The police are investigating the circumstances in which he died. In another incident, a woman committed suicide in Koh-e-Fiza. Seema Singh, 29, hanged self by the ceiling in the house. It could not be ascertained what prompted her to end life.
Also, a woman who had consumed a poisonous substance a couple of days back died in the hospital. Prabha Jain, resident of Nehru Nagar, was admitted to hospital where her condition kept on deteriorating and she died today. The police are investigating the cases.
