Scores of young bikers laid siege to the old-bus stand flyover in Ghaziabad on Sunday for around two hours, performing stunts and making merry.

Both the traffic personnel and the police remained mute spectators as the bikers' aerobatics led to massive jams on either side.

A huge crowd of onlookers cheered the bikers, numbering more than 20. Those who could not perform stunts sped their way up and down the flyover, even on the wrong sides.

When some mediapersons reached the spot, the bikers ended the siege. Police vans arrived at the spot and later cleared the flyover.

SSP L. Ravi Kumar told Hindustan Times that he would look into the matter.
