India's KM Binu on Saturday crashed out of the 400 metres Olympic competition, finishing seventh in the second semi-final in 45.97 seconds.
The 23-year-old, who had created a new national record of 45.48 seconds to make the semi finals on Friday, failed to better that performance and exited.
