Actress Bipasha Basu today said she and her boyfriend actor John Abhraham were not hosting a party for India cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his newly-wedded wife Sakshi.
"Ok for everyone who thinks me and John r hosting a party for mahi, just want to say its a rumour. Nt true! (sic)," the actress said on the micro-blogging site Twitter.
"Would have loved to host a get together for them, but its their family time now, everyone. Later for sure:)(sic)," she tweeted.
Bipasha's clarification follows reports in a section of the media that Dhoni's reception would be held in Mumbai on July 7, which also happens to be his birthday.
Bipasha and John are close friends of the Indian skipper and were the only couple from Bollywood to have been invited for his wedding in Dehradun last night.
While Bipasha could not attend as she was busy shooting in Diu, John had attended the marriage.
Television channels have reported that Dhoni and Sakshi had attended the premiere of Bipasha's film Race in Mumbai in 2008.
