"This (CBI inquiry) will facilitate speedy investigation and the process will not get caught up in trading of charges between the Centre and the state," he said.
Bitta said criminalisation of politics in the state is responsible for such acts.
"The murky politics of the state has led to a situation where even ministers are not safe. The blast outside the residence of Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi was an act of political terrorism for which criminalisation of politics is responsible," Bitta told reporters in Allahabad.
