BJP announces support to JD(S)

The Chief Ministership was likely to go to JD(S) leader HD Kumaraswamy and Deputy Chief Ministership to BJP.

BJP on Wednesday announced support to the JD(S) faction led by HD Kumaraswamy in forming a coalition government with the party in the state.

Senior BJP leader M Venkaiah Naidu said after the BJP legislature party meeting that JD(S) would lead the government in the first 20 months and BJP in the remaining 20 months.
