Senior Samajwadi Party leader and Transport Minister Naresh Agrawal on Sunday alleged that all three main political parties - BJP, BSP and Congress - had a common agenda of dislodging the Samajwadi Party from power.
But the party, he claimed, would return to power with three-fourth majority after the forthcoming Assembly polls.
Speaking at a function held by the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) to formally inaugurate the CNG city bus service, Agrawal said BSP leader Mayawati's remarks on Friday that the BJP and the Congress won local bodies polls due to the party's support to them had proved SP's claims that all the three parties were united against it. He claimed the SP had emerged stronger in cities during the recently held polls.
Agrawal claimed that his government had done work for all sections of the society and said that it would have done even better had the Centre cooperated with it.
He alleged that the Centre was coming in the way of completion of the Dadri Power project. "The Centre was not fixing the rate of the gas to be supplied to the project," he alleged.
