BJP candidate Jayanti Rathwa from Pavi-Jetpur constituency of Vadodara district has been arrested on charges of "illegally" possessing weapons, official sources said on Sunday.
Rathwa was arrested late Saturday night along with six other BJP workers, they said.

There are many criminal cases registered against Rathwa, the sources added.
