Gaur claims investment worth Rs 1 lakh crore is coming to the State.
I would like to know from where. I have asked him a number of times which industries have come and from where. Where is investment? Where is production? He is evasive. Until I see industrial production, I’ll not buy the claims about Rs 1 lakh-crore investment.

He has offered to take you along to places where investments have come and execution on industrial set-up begun.
Why should I go with him? Why doesn’t he give me in black and white about the so-called rosy industrial scene? See, I will be happy if the State progresses. But this government is making castles in the air. Gaur went to so many countries – Sharjah (UAE), the UK, the USA, Japan, China and what not – apparently to woo investors. What he achieved was a ‘big’ Rs 1-crore investment offer from Sharjah. I applauded his efforts.

Gaur says Digvijay Singh is frustrated over this government’s success because he could do precious little during his 10-year rule on industrial front.

It’s a blatant lie. A lot of industries, for which this government is taking credit, came up in the State during my time. It is wrong to say that I did not focus on industrial infrastructure. Many big houses like Hotline, Bridgestone, Hindustan Motors and so on set up shops in MP during my regime. Work on the Bina Oil Refinery also began when I was the CM. The NDA Government stalled work on the project. The UPA Government facilitated resumption of work on the refinery. And the BJP is taking credit for that

This only proves my point that this government is misleading.
