"The BJP has gone mad to grab power in Jharkhand. It has become greedy to grab power. Jharkhand has collapsed due to greedy politics of BJP," union Food Processing Industries Minister Subodh Kant Sahay, who is the MP from Ranchi, told reporters in New Delhi, reacting to the BJP-Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) power-sharing settlement.

The state had been plunged in crisis since April 28 as the BJP threatened to withdraw support to Chief Minister Shibu Soren, who had voted in favour of the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government during the BJP tabled cut motions in the Lok Sabha.

Marandi, the first chief minister of Jharkhand, had announced that if given a chance, he was ready to again take responsibility of run the state.
