BJP MLA Sahu dies in Raipur

BJP MLA Madanlal Sahu, who represented Sanjari Balod Assembly seat in Chhattisgarh's Durg district, died of cardiac arrest on Sunday.

He was 52, party activists said.

Sahu suffered a heart attack this evening after he attended a party meeting. The MLA was rushed to Ramkrishna Care Hospital where he was declared dead, they said.

Governor Shekhar Dutt, Chief Minister Raman Singh, Assembly Speaker Dharamlal Kaushik and other ministers have condoled Sahu's death.
